A vivid example of a modern breakthrough in aesthetic medicine is the Profhilo injections, developed by Italian specialists. This was one of the most anticipated releases of the year, recognized by both cosmetologists and patients. Profhilo belongs to the products that help slow down the natural aging processes of the skin.

In European countries, these injections have been used for several years, with the product debuting in 2016.

The key feature of Profhilo is its high concentration of ultra-pure hyaluronic acid. Unlike many other products, the injections are given only in 10 specific points rather than across the entire face, as in classic biorevitalization

Today, it is one of the most concentrated hyaluronic acid–based products, also characterized by low viscosity, which ensures even distribution in the tissues. Its composition includes two types of hyaluronic acid: high-molecular (H-HA) and low-molecular (L-HA). During production, these acids are heated to encourage molecular bonding, then rapidly cooled to form stable hydrogen bonds that preserve high concentration in the skin.

Importantly, these bonds form without the use of additional chemical cross-linking agents, which can be toxic. This makes the product safe, hypoallergenic, and non–habit-forming, with no risk of tissue rejection.

Composition:

  • 32 mg of high-molecular (H-HA) and 32 mg of low-molecular (L-HA) sodium hyaluronate per 2 ml;

  • sodium chloride;

  • sodium phosphate;

  • water for injection.

  • Reduced inflammation — low-molecular molecules are released gradually, not activating inflammatory cytokines, which lowers irritation risk.

  • High biocompatibility — the absence of chemical cross-linking agents reduces the likelihood of side effects.
