    • Lactic acid works by reducing the bonds between keratinocytes in the outer layer of the skin, leading to gradual regeneration. It stimulates the production of collagen and glycosaminoglycans, which make up the intercellular material, and also naturally hydrates the skin, enhancing ceramide formation.
